This critical survey project is designed to identify the evolving needs, expectations, and outlook of HVACR contractors as they face a rapidly changing marketplace. 

The survey was open for contractors to complete in September and October 2025. 

The Contractor of the Future Report will provide valuable insights into the key trends shaping the future of the HVACR industry—covering workforce dynamics, business models, customer expectations, and technology adoption.

TJ has been with the Farmington Consulting Group since 2008 and became President of the Company in 2018. He is nationally recognized as an expert growth strategist in the Electrical, Plumbing & HVAC/R distribution channels. TJ has a wealth of experience conducting & analyzing distribution industry surveys, leading advisory councils, facilitating strategic planning sessions, and working with cross-functional teams on process improvement. TJ is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a degree in Finance. Prior to joining FCG, he worked as a Retirement Planner at Prudential Retirement. TJ resides in Sarasota, Florida and has two young children.
